Minister Hasani visited Kosovo's Economic Oda: We don't let anybody play with our business.

Trade and Industry Minister Bajram Hasani has visited the chairman of the Kosovo Economic House, Berat Rukicin, where it has been discussed co-operation between the two institutions and addressing business problems.

Minister Hasani has congratulated Rukicin for his new task and has expressed readiness for co-operation.

“Today, we have been willing to visit the new chairman, to welcome the task and to show that the Ministry of Trade and Industry and I as minister will begin the more deepening co-operation because we think that the Kosovo Economic Oda should be seen as the main reference to the contact to show business concerns”, Hasani has said.

Minister Hasani announced that they have discussed the problem of electricity businesses with Rukiqi as well.

Hasan has said they will not allow anyone to play with their businesses and their problems will be dealt with very seriously, especially those with electricity.

“As far as KEDS is concerned, MTI is the address that businesses each day have complaints about KEDS and we are interested in finding a modulation that maybe apart from the point of contact, let it be part of the National Council, that a mechanism be found, that a group be formed to have stricter supervision for KED, or whoever it is, the investor. We're not about to mix the private sector, but we're about to protect business and not let anyone play with our businesses. Facts, complaints testify that KED shows some obstacles we need to address and discuss. Many private businesses have made investments with their money and that investment passes over to KED's property, the state will probably be watching over it and should not be allowed to be mistreated. These should be seriously addressed”, Minister Hasani has said.

While Kosovo Economic Ode Chairman Berat Rukiqi stressed that Minister Hasani offered him co-operation and readiness to address business problems.
