The bad dog”, as is McGregor's nickname, will be re-entered in the cage for the first time since November 2016, when he defeated Eddie Alvarez to win the lightweight title. Since then he has accomplished only a boxing match with Floyd Maywether while spending more time with his family, mainly with his little boy. McGregor got divorced a year ago by the UFC and then Nurmagomedov managed to beat Al Iqunian to get the champion title.
