Reading a book has become an increasingly rare phenomenon, perhaps the cause of technology, the Internet, but other circumstances related to educational and economic level.
According to INSTAT data, recorded in a special poll, it is seen that last year over 1 million Albanians have failed to read any books.
The rest, meanwhile, are said to have read very little. About 320 thousand Albanians over 25 years of age reported reading fewer than 5 books last year. As their portion of them read more than that gets smaller.
About 102 thousand Albanians report they have read 5-10 books during the past year, while about 44,000 Albanians have read more than 10 books during the year.
Newspaper reading seems to have dropped. As can be seen naturally, those who read the most have higher or middle education. /Panorama/Periscope
