Heartbreaker, the girl hugs her boyfriend before she shuts off her life machine

The touching picture features the emotional moment when 15-year-old Stephanie Ray gives her boyfriend Blake Ward his last goodbye, who was taken from the water currents last week, writes Periscope.

Blake was one of three fosterers who had been saved from Lake Tywinn in Guwynd, northwest Wales, who was taken from the shores during a family picnic.

It is believed that the boy from Dudley had gone into the water to cool himself during last week's heat in Great Britain before being caught by the currents.

He had been sent immediately to a hospital in Liverpool, where he was kept alive through equipment.

But on Sunday morning, doctors and family members decided to send the boy to the next life, shutting off the device, since hopes for recovery were in existence.

Before his death, his girlfriend Stephanie was photographed in an intimate moment with the boy who loved him.

She has been with him all along that he was lying in the hospital until doctors and family members made the decision.

At last farewell, she climbed into Blake's bed and put her head in his arms. /Periscopi/
