The patrol began to search the vehicle in which there were four people, but as soon as the police approached, fire was opened against them and the four of them could leave.
Fortunately, there were no injuries.
Police seized a 9mm calibre pistol at the scene.
Order forces launched a large - scale operation, and the four were caught in the morning hours in the town of Chile, in the continental part of the country, after being able to leave the island.

According to local media, the five are bosses of organised crime and their activity lies not only on the island, but in other parts of Greece.
