Kosovo police, namely, the investigative department has handed over criminal outcry to Pristina's Constitutional Prosecutor to Mitrovica Chairman Agim Bahtiri, as the same on July 23rd through the telephone had threatened and reviled journalist Shkumbin Kaitazi.
Police have indicated that following the indictment of the case by journalist Shkumbin Kaitazi, under legal authorisation it has taken all necessary investigative actions in connection with the case, where, after the investigation ended, it has delivered criminal speculation to the Pristina Founding Prosecutor against the threat of Agim Bahtiri.
The Kosovo Police have taken all necessary investigative actions in connection with the case. The case has been completed and sent to competent prosecution”, Kosovo Police announced.
We remember that, from January this year until now, the Kosovo Journalists' Association has recorded a total of 13 journalists' cases. 2 of these cases are physical attacks, another 10 cases are verbal threats, and another case is damage to the property of a journalist”, said the AGK report.
