Macedonia's Prime Minister, Zoran Zaev, has declared that the referendum will be consultative and will be held on September 30th. Zaev also called on the opposition to support the referendum and call for mass participation of citizens.
“E knows that the referendum will be consultative. I still use the opportunity to invite the opposition to get involved, and invite citizens to go out mistically to show their attitude. You know this is the historic decision, not only comes out of the referendum, but because through it is defined the future of the Republic of Macedonia”, Zaev said, transmits Alsat M.
Zaev stressed that the question is what has already been published: “Are you for NATO and the EU with the support of the agreement between the Republic of Macedonia and the Republic of Greece?
This statement by the prime minister, who is located in Kumanovo, comes on the eve of the session's appointment for the declaration of Macedonia's name referendum.
