In the wake of his death, Thaci graces Fadil Vokrin with the Jubilare Medal of Independence.

Kosovo President Hashim Thaci has decorated it with the Jubilare Presidential Medal of the 10th anniversary of Independence after his death, former head of the Kosovo Football Federation Fadil Vokrin.

With motivation for Fadil Vokrri's contribution to promoting Kosovo sports in the world and for UEFA and FIFA membership, the president has handed the award to his wife and two Vorrit boys.

Thaci has said Fadil Vokrrit's death was a major loss for Kosovo's family, collaborators, citizens and sports.

There was the face of Kosovo, where Fadhil was. We are all saddened by Fadil's death, but at the same time we are proud of his historic role in promoting Kosovo to the world”, President Thaci has said.

The head of state has added that in the most important times, Fadil Vokry has helped develop football and build Kosovo's image in the world.
