Many people, including me, remember Oliver Ivanoviqi as an independent and strong person who expressed his thoughts no matter the possible damage that would be done to him. In a democratic society, each should be free to express his opinion and not fear that he will be killed for that action. It's already been six months since Ivanovic's murder, and we still don't know which direction you're going.

This sends a terrible but clear message that people who act and speak independently can be eliminated and that authors can count on impunity. The hopeless police and justice in Kosovo have been reinforced by Belgrade's silence, which launched an investigation into the issue without any results to date. Today, after my participation in a small ceremony in northern Mitrovica, I appeal to competent institutions to make additional efforts to shed light on this murder and convict the authors, since such actions should not go unpunished against”, he has ended.
