Post without pay workers: Guilty Government

Kosovo's post through a media communique alarms government institutions for the collapses of this company. In the media communiqué, the board of directors and management has consistently announced the Government of Kosovo for its burdened financial situation, proposing concrete steps for overcoming it. For months, the Ministry of Economic Development [...]
“for months, the Ministry of Economic Development (MZHE) and Government are ignoring any request and proposal from Posta, including meeting requirements. Taking into account that Government is the only MZHE Post acting director of public enterprises, such a disregard is unacceptable and very harmful because this company is sending it into even deeper crisis”, the communiqué says.
As reportedly in the communiqué, Posta has not been able to fulfil even the obligations it has to make to local public institutions and have warned that they will block accounts on August 2nd, which will bring to total collapses.
The entire situation is due to the non-relief coverage we have suffered from offering the Universal Postal Service that this loss in the amount of about 5m euros MZHE is obliged to pay us, but refuses to do so for years. As a result of the MZHE failure to perform obligations, Posta has still not been able to pay a single salary this month, and today we are on July 4,”, this communiqué says.
According to the communiqué despite the launching of dozens of new services, which Kosovo citizens who use services are aware of, do not pay losses to the Universal Postal Service, and favouring the Government to private companies at the expense of its company have brought it to this serious condition.
“In overcoming the serious situation and the avoidance of the Post collapse, we ask the MZHE to urgently pay off the debt created as a result of losses at the Universal Post Service”, the Kosovo Post Community says.
