Police in action, investigation into parents forcing children to seek charity

A media communiqué says that for Kosovo citizens, in consultation with relevant prosecutors, 15 cases of maltreatment or abandoning the child against the parents of child seekers have been initiated, while Albanian citizens will be treated based on the Foreign Law.
All of those identified, children in a street situation have been accompanied by family members and equipped with documents that have proven their identity and family ties, while none of them have resulted in being victims of human trafficking.
Kosovo police express commitment to fighting negative phenomena in the country, in particular war and non-competitive, will be realised to all those who claim to misuse children and violate their rights in any way.
