Public National Company has turned into a arena of clashes among political parties since the post-war (1999).

Founded in 1946 as the building maintenance department, and registered in 2000 at the Ministry of Trade and Industry as NPB, this company has built nearly ten thousand residences, hundreds of business establishments, garages and various warehouses, before and after the war. Some of them have been “d” over the years, but many others, although they are its property, are not under management, because they're usurped, writes today “Koha Ditore”.

Before the war, The NPB has built 7,800 residences and 750 local business establishments, all over the various neighbourhoods of the capital, as well as the largest former Lubjan Bank, 4,400 square metres.

After the war, it built 150 other residences, 298 business locals, 80 net surface garages of 1,220,000 m2 and ship depots. About 1500.00 m2.

All this wealth turns out to have increased party appetites, trying to get company management. The latest clashes are those between the Vetevendosje Movement and the Social Democrat Party, which are in an effort to achieve a ruling coalition in the capital.
