Shkodran Mustafi acknowledges that Germany will miss a player like Ozil, but he fully respects “personal decision” of his associate at Arsenali, Periscopi broadcasts.
The Albanian defender was part of Germany along with Ozil when world champions were declared in 2014.
His decision surprised me. I think it's a personal decision. As a fellow player and friend I stand by him and if he needs help, I'll be there,” Mustaf said.
Of course I'm a little disappointed because I think he's an excellent player who's given a lot to Germany's national.
