The “for Israel is important to reach a peaceful agreement with Kosovo, Israel's president's upcoming visit to Serbia, Ruven Rivlin, will be clear indication that we hope to reach a satisfactory compromise for both sides”, Fischer Kam said.
According to her, it is important that Kosovo and Serbia reach a long-term agreement that would ensure peace and stability in the Balkans.
“We hope for the best for the Balkans. We want to reach a peaceful solution that would end this long-standing conflict. This satisfactory solution would also be guarantor for its duration”, the ambassador has indicated.
She also said that Kosovo is a bilateral issue between Serbia and Israel since the latter's decision to ignore Kosovo's independence.
