After the meeting ended, Haradinaj has been declared concerning the discussions within her and concerned precisely the resignation of some KSF members from the Serb community that took place the previous day.
According to Haradinaj, the pressure put on them by Belgrade Serbs is illegal and that Kosovo has reacted immediately in this regard.
“U discussed Belgrade's pressures on KSF members from the Serb community. You were also aware of a certain phase that even reports in the media on attacks, with weapons, with explosive means risking the lives of KSF members, from the Serb community. These have happened and resulted in the request for KSF release, of a number of Serb members from a Kosovo region, which is not north. Most of them in the declarations of reasons for release present the pressure exercised directly by authorities, whether by their movements in Serbia, so the ban and questioning for them, their families to other instruments that are used, including other mechanisms working in Kosovo that have implemented this pressure, a threat to members of the KSF, of the Serb community”, Haradinaj has said.
According to him, it is understood that this does not result in the collapse of overall security in the country.
The “but what comes out of this meeting is also Kosovo's actions, which are necessary in this system created”, has added Haradinaj.
According to him, this approach of Serbs is the same as the previous one, so many years ago.
“Somewhere there is an approach like the Kosovo Serbs should not take part in Kosovo institutions at all, years ago while today Kosovo Serbs are equal and participate in political, ruling life, such pressure is really meaningless, so it's stopped in time these occurred some 10 years ago, we are surprised by this approach so unfair because someone is exercising crime against these Kosovo citizens. It is against conventions, against security rights, we like Kosovo have acted in time, in order not to accept this”, have concluded Haradinaj.
