Dalic: I wouldn't trade Croatia's bench with Brazil, Barcelona

Zlatko Dalic said he can coach Brazil, or Barcelona, but Croatia's bench will always remain his favourite job, following his country's move towards the World Cup final.

Croatia made its history under the direction of Coach Dalic, following its first performance at the Russia World Cup final, where it lost 4-2 to France.

Dalic and Croatia won fans around the world for their football, throughout the tournament, while the Balkan nation was greeted by about half a million fans in Zagreb's streets, imposing an extraordinary welcome on world Vice Champions, despite losing in the finals.

Reflecting on what happened in Russia's World, Dalic said in an emotional speech: “I can be the coach of Brazil, or Barcelona, but this will always be the favourite job to lead the Croatian national team. It still grieves, because we had to win the trophy, but if someone had offered me to be in the finals before the World Cup, we would all have run this” position.

Dalic replaced Ante Cacic in October, while Croatia fought during the World Cup qualifications. The 51-year-old monitored a change in luck, successfully leading Croatia towards Greece, to “play-off”, before his country scored at “Rusica 20188x3>.

The Croats won over Argentina, Russia, England and Denmark during their impressive race, with midfield leader Luka Modric, winning the highest individual honours for his performances throughout the race.
