Culture Ministry Supports 22 Projects in the field of informal education

After signing the contracts, Minister Gashi said the purpose of this is to implement various projects within the framework of the Youth Department.

“We are interested as the minister that the projects we are supporting financially in the Youth Department under our youth policies to implement overall and beneficial of these projects are young people of our cities, young people of the Republic of Kosovo”, Gashi has said.

Gashi also said such agreements are being made with ceremonies in order to be more transparent and citizens or applicants know who the beneficiaries of these projects are.

I would ask from the Youth Department, but also from our officials in the ministry to monitor the projects as transparent as possible, because I said it at the beginning, we're interested every cent of the ministry, every cent of the citizens of the Republic of Kosovo to go to the right place, where we have split”, Gashi said.

Similarly, Minister Gashi has also called on beneficial organisations to implement these projects as a whole, as well as beneficiaries of projects to be youth.

One of the project beneficiaries, Andrew Dibrani of the NGO “Debate Center”, told of the organisation's mission and pledged before the minister for full implementation of the project.

I believe I have the privilege of speaking even in the name of all organizations, to pledge to you that the song has fulfilled the hundred percent that you're instructing us and that the song has given me the results you're really expecting from young organizations. I'm also talking here on behalf of the Debate Center.. The organization I represent, which is not formal education outside the school system through debate, through critical thought at a sensitive stage of their own, such as the University School”, Debrani said.

Yesterday the Ministry of Culture has published the list of beneficiaries for projects in Non-Formal Education. The commission has selected 22 project beneficiary organisations, while according to a published document from M The KRS, it is said, has been a total of 52 applicants, but 12 have not met the criteria and have not taken the necessary points to qualify for financial support.

The published document does not write down what amount is divided for these organisations, while Minister Gashi has declared he does not know the exact amount the beneficiaries will receive.

I don't exactly know the sum, but each organization has different sums, which includes 2 grand, 3 thousand, 4 thousand euros from now”, Gashi said.
