Fixed on June 21st, photos show modifications in the plutonium production reactor, in the facility, and construction of several supporting objects, planned since before the Korean-veritor leader. Kim Jong was to meet with US President Donald Trump in Singapore earlier this month.
The ministry of unification, contacted by CNN on the issue, said it cannot confirm the report and that it is following the situation closely. However, the continuation of the work on the Yongbyon facility should not be seen as linked to the commitment of North Korea's promise of denucleariism, despite the fact that photos suggest Peniani is continuing in earlier steps.
Images are in stark contrast with Donald Trump's recent statements that the North Korea regime no longer poses a nuclear threat, even though his meeting with Kim Jong-un did not provide any convincing evidence that North Korea would give up its nuclear programme, follows the TCh.
On the other hand, US Secretary of State Mike Pompeii said Wednesday that North Korea remains a nuclear threat, but also defended Trump's earlier statements.
