Cavushoglu, who met with US counterpart Mike Pompeo today, has said there will be no delay or cancellation of US F-35 aircraft purchases.
He said that at the meeting with Pompeo they talked about American tariffs on steel and aluminum, as well as the definition of “guide” to secure the Syrian city of Manbidz.
Cavushoglu and Pompeo also talked about future co-operation in Syria and steps to be taken to ensure stability and security in Manbidz.
The two ministers agreed to hold further meetings to resolve current bilateral issues, saying NATO allies remain committed to resolving common disturbing causes “in the spirit of Alliance Partnership”
