There is talk of early elections on the AAKA table

The Alliance for the Future of Kosovo is next to calling the political parties' table, but unlike the past VV table, the table of this political subject will not be the point of the agenda.

AAK deputy head Blerim Kuci says they have not yet set a date for holding the table or topics to be discussed, but stresses that the working group, which will handle the meeting agenda and topics, which will be addressed at the table, has been informed of.

However, the discussion on the table, which will be called by the AAK, according to him, will not be early elections.

“The processing group defines the theme. What are the priorities that are required as a national consensus. If it is dialogue, then we will talk only about dialogue, if there are electoral reforms. If it's election elections... The opposition is just not talking about elections. We've even talked at the first meeting that early election issues are not the topics that should be discussed for a national consensus. The topics of particular importance, which during the process have been sought for consensus, have been dialogue, has been the military, have been European integrations, topics which are already known. Five themes are in which we're defined, it's not early elections”, he said.

While not thinking the current opposition could tear down Haradinaj Government.

My impression is no, I'm saying no. I think we're the first to go through some light processes Kosovo needs. And the position needs Mr. Haradinaj at the head of the government, even on this issue the opposition is aware of”, he says.

To him the tables of the ongoing political parties are not a waste of time, as it is supposed.

It's not just a waste of time, it's important, to create such a tradition, with such meetings going on in the future, that's not a waste of time. The second if we reach only one consensus on a particular topic, on national themes, for me it is success”, he said.

But Vetevendosje calls the tables, which the political parties are holding, in vain. VV Parliamentary Group chief Glauk Konjufca says such tables as they are no longer make sense.

“The VV at its last table that held it, explained that these tables have lost their sense, if we don't talk about elections and the most important question when it comes to elections, is to sign that declaration where political subjects are determined that we need a new set of elections and to give a new legitimacy to Kosovo institutions. Since Kosovo is facing complicated processes, which await it in the future, in particular here is emphasising on future dialogue with Serbia, which is being called the grand finale. With this division where power may not even have the Initiative with it, in this dialogue, which Hashim Thaci is aiming to lead, and which the opposition in general is rejecting. Without compliance and consensus on this, if there is this division, I think the process cannot move forward. I think all we need is a government subcommittee, which is impossible without new elections. I think the VV saw him at his desk that day. It means, power parties did not sign the declaration of new elections, so the LDK had its remarks. I think this process has come to an end and it doesn't make any sense anymore. Actually, the LDK showed it only for political protagonism, since it did not sign the election statement”, he said.

As far as a possible motion for the government's collapse is concerned, Konjufca says any initiative for elections, makes sense only if a list of 58 MPs' firms is created, the list for which he is skeptical.

Whatever initiative for elections makes sense only if a list is created, where the firms of at least 58 deputies, who make up the opposition, if 58 MPs are not made, then we are away from the government's collapse. I am skeptical that 58 MPs can be made because I find the Social Democrat Party at least on one side is not looking ready for elections. And the LDK is making more of an election block, as is what we want elections to do, and they don't sign the statement about after elections... The very fact that the LDK did not sign the election statement, it does not seem to me that they are for elections, I think they are already for domestic elections, rather than for national elections”, he said.
