Spain's police, in the Catalonia region, have arrested 15 people suspected of stealing in the highway area leading from La Yonquera to Taragona, near Barcelona. They've been caught in horror by cameras performing thefts against foreign tourists in Spain.
15 People, reports the medium El PeriodicoThey're originally from Kosovo. Police have said those arrested have committed a large number of thefts in several European countries, Isander explains.
Meanwhile, five other components of the group are abroad and police have not been able to arrest them.
The arrests were held on June 6th in cities: Castledales, Baldalona, Barcelona and Vilanova. However, only six of those arrested had residence permits in Catalonia, while the rest lived in hotels using false documentation or often changed their residence.
The detainees are accused of organised crime, theft, forged documents, and, in one case, threatening theft. In five raids on them, large amounts of money have been found.
