During the final phase of the Pristina dialogue, it wants to continue with the establishment of the army, as long as Belgrade and the Association of Serb Major municipalities.
On the other side for the recognition of Kosovo, negotiations must be held between Belgrade and the European Union (BE).
So stated in an interview with the newspaper “Voice” American analyst for the Balkans Daniel Serwer, adding that during these negotiations the EU will insist on a full and irreversible normalisation, which according to him implies mutual recognition and exchange of representatives at the ambassadorial level.
Serwer has also spoken of the possibility that Kosovo will win its seat at the UN during negotiations with Serbia.
“As far as UN membership is concerned, it is important to remember that it is not Belgrade that will decide, but Moscow. I can unfortunately imagine a situation in which Belgrade concludes that UN membership is a good idea, but Moscow refuses”, has added the Serwer further to the “Zen” interview.
American analyst for the Balkans has also talked about forming the Kosovo Army, liberalising visas with the EU and the Special Court.
