President Vladimir Putin has declared that Russia is not meant to split the European Union (BE).
These statements he made prior to his visit to Austria, which is the first trip to a Western country in more than a year.

The Russian president will meet with counterpart Alexander Van der Bellen, as well as Austrian Chancellor Sebastian Kurz, and also some leaders in the business field.
