Kosovo police through a communique for the media estimate that the security situation in Kosovo is calm and stable.

“Based in its mandate, Kosovo Police exercise its legal and constitutional competencies, in full service to citizens, in order to create a safe and secure environment, in order to ensure free movement for all. Every citizen's fundamental right is to live and act free and without fear, regardless of age, gender, race, religious or ethnic affiliation, which is our primary interest in fulfilling and respecting them”, the Police Community says.
The communique says further that the vision of the Kosovo Police, its police activity and directions it towards providing security, law enforcement and crime prevention, always with dedication to the service of citizens to promote safe and secure environment.

According to police, this mutual engagement of the Police with Kosovo citizens and other actors will affect a life without fear of crime, but will also contribute to the fight against crime and prevention of all negative phenomena in society.
