PDK ready for new elections

PDK Parliamentary Group chief Memli Krasniqi has declared his party ready for early elections if all other political subjects decide.

But, according to him, no party wants to have elections.

Kosovo currently does not need early parliamentary elections, but needs stability and institutional stability.

However, the Democratic Party of Kosovo (PDK) is ready for elections if all parliamentary parties decide on such a decision. So stated during an interview with the newspaper “Voice” PDK Parliamentary Group chief Memli Krasniqi.

According to him, despite the PDK's readiness no political subject in the country wants elections in Kosovo, as there are some issues of national importance that must be defined within the next two to three years.

PDK MP chief during this interview has also spoken of the final phase of dialogue with Serbia, saying that the country needs a team of unity this time, and that president Thaci must lead this process despite opposition from opposition and ruling coalition partner Social Democrat Initiative..
