Obama is holding secret meetings with the Democrats, who will run for president in 2020?

Former US President Barack Obama, in recent months, is holding several secret meetings with some of the potential names that can compete for president of the United States in 2020, writes Politico, broadcast Periscopi.

Among the names Obama has met so far and he has spoken to them eye to eye: Bernie Sanders, Elizabeth Warren, Joe Biden and Deval Patric.

All meetings are being held in secret, and counselors of all prospective candidates are also attending, writes Politico.

They are discussing the future of the Democratic Party and being as willing as possible in the 2020 presidential race.

All meetings have been confirmed by people attending these meetings, Politico writes.

Obama, initially interested in finding the name he will race for president.

He's not making any promises for support, without knowing the name that will compete with the Democrats in the 2020 <18x1> elections, writes Politico, the Periscopi broadcast.

But at these meetings, not only is it being discussed the possible name of the Democrats for president; the Democratic Party's positions on the actions and decisions of US President Donald Trump, Russia's interventions in the recent presidential elections, Trump's movements against Iran, etc.

However, Obama does not see himself among the people who have a concrete plan of how the Democrats will move away in that direction. But it will play a major role in how the Democrats will be organised.

Regarding these meetings, Obama's office has refused to comment or answer the questions Politico has sent.

But it is confirmed that the meeting with Bernie Sanders was held in mid-March. They have discussed the party's future and the role the Democratic Party can play in different processes until the new presidential elections in America.

For Bernie Sanders, it's still not known whether he is among the candidates who can run again in the 2020 elections.
