Mucholl: Podujevo invests in asphalting and channeling 13 times more than in education

Vetevendosje assembly at the Municipal Assembly of Podujevo, Fitim Mucholli has addressed a huge concern for citizens of this municipality concerning mismanagement of local government, which according to him is not helping raise the quality of education.

It has indicated that only 5.19 % investment budgets from the municipality are earmarked, which amounts to 365.088 euros from the total budget.

If we refer to 2019 from 22,320,617 the total Podujevo Community Budget from 7,024,943m Capital Investments, only $35,088 is meant to be invested in the education sector, which in % falls only 5.19%, Mucholi says.

According to him, Podujevo invests in asphalting and channeling 13 times more than in education.

Noble Lapian citizens,

I'm sharing a concern with you as your representative from the Vetevendosje Movement ranks in the Municipal Assembly regarding the Podujevo Community's mid-term bordering framework 2019-2021, especially in the ARS mean sector.

Given that education is the main pillar of local and national governance development, I remain concerned with mismanagement of local government that is not helping anything to build quality in education.

If we refer to 2019 out of 22,320,617 euros of the total Podujevo Community Budget from 7,024,943m Capital Investments only $325,088 is meant to be invested in the education sector, which in % falls only 5.19%.

If the total budget is carefully analysed since 2018-2021, we have a total increase in the Komuna Budget of 2,638,576, as well as forecasting the growth of capital investments of 1,985,113, all coming from the central level, despite these increases in the capital investment sectors of ARSM.

And if this is still calculated by % it means that 94.81% of capital revenues are projected to invest in other sectors, while 77% are dedicated to asphalt and channeling, which means that 13.16 times as much as in ARSIM is invested in asphalt and channeling.
