A symbolic number of designers and citizens have protested today in front of the headquarters of the Kosovo Football Federation, in recognition of the logo on this federation, which was elected days earlier.
No more than ten people in this case expressed disappointment with the logo design, claiming that this logo has not deserved to be resolved. They have also put on the slogan “O son-in-law to serve us”, dedicating this to the loger, who is said to be Diturie Hodge's son-in-law.
FFK Deputy Chairman Agim Ademi and her secretary, Erroll Salihu, have explained to protesters how this logo solution has come to this.
It's not that the Football Federation has done something on its own, if we wanted to do something ourselves, we'd done it ourselves, like the football Federation that's happened so far, that's changed that red and black and it's come in with state symbols that have become a little change and we could actually do it in such shape. But we wanted to do a little more professional and we did it in this form where 160 people have competed”, Ademi said.
While Federation of Kosovo Football Secretary confirmed that this has been a choice of the late FFK leader Fadil Vokri after three final elections were offered to him.
“has been required by U EFA and FIFA marketing services EFA modernised the logo. That blue logo we put together on the executive committee as an unofficial author is me. It was red and black that had to remove other folk symbols so we could identify ourselves with the new federation. Now the goal of the Executive Committee and the late Chairman Fadil Vokri was to involve all the interested parties after we were able to make our own”, Salihu said.
After that, protesters held a meeting within FFK offices with leaders of the latter, in which the media were not allowed to participate.
After the meeting, which lasted about 20 minutes, Arben Lezi from “Pristina Designer” showed what was said by the federation's leaders by agreeing that this logo will be for at least two years, after the Federation has already handed it over to UEFA
This is the end we've only been waiting for. They told us from the Federation that the logo was approved by the late Vokri. We don't have a choice two years ago even if we want to change, but the choice was his own, out of three proposals that were given him. Form of how the proposals went wrong, what happened before, life suspicious. We suggested even investigations into the case of the marketing director and her relationship or commitment she has made in this process”, he said.
With this logo, a number of citizens who have expressed dissatisfaction with social networks have been disappointed, and even a petition against this logo has been created.
