Kosovo signs deal worth 48m euros with European Commission

The first part of this agreement is worth 49.4m euros, with the value of 48m euros, being financed by the European Union, while 1.4m euros are co-finance of the Government of Kosovo.
With this agreement, Kosovo will benefit the financial assistance it will use for advancing democracy and governance, empowering rule of law and human rights, protecting environment, climate and energy projects, increasing competitiveness and innovation, agriculture and rural development.
Also, these funds will be used for advancing education, employment and social policies.
Kosovo is now beneficial to IPA funds, and we are left to use this assistance to implement reforms and all projects must result in improving the welfare of our citizens.
In line with the dynamics Kosovo is going through on its path to the EU, the Ministry of European Integration, in co-operation with all state dictatorships, will increase its commitment to the prosperity of this financial assistance, so that the effects of this assistance can be felt in each citizen of Kosovo, says the communique of the Ministry of Integration.
