Telegram of relief for Fadil Vokrrit's life, head of FFK and vice president of KOK
The morning of June 9, 2018, gave news of evil and sad news about the Kosovo sport. Legend of all time of Kosovo football, Fadil Vokrri, president of the Kosovo Football Federation and vice president of the Kosovo Olympic Committee (KOK) is no longer among us.
The man with outstanding credit for Kosovo football membership in UEFA and FIFA passed away on this morning, at 57 years of age, at the time he needed most Kosovo and our sport.
The death of Vorritre has affected us all who have known and worked with him. Vorri was the most prominent figure of our football in the golden years of Pristina, becoming the idol of every Albanian fan, but not only.
It is difficult to find words describing the contribution of the man with whom all of Kosovo boasted at the time he played and at the time he directed Kosovo football. His name and work brought many friends to Kosovo who opened the door to the sport, in particular the game Fadhil dedicated to a life of football.
By 2012 Vorkry also contributed to the Olympic Movement, appointing a member of the Executive Board of the Kosovo Olympic Committee at the Electoral Assembly. Four years later, at the December 2016 Electoral Assembly, Vokrri was appointed vice president of the Kosovo Olympic Committee.
His great name and his past only made the Olympic Movement in Kosovo richer. The memory of Fadil Vokrri will be permanent for us, as an example of devotion and unspoiled commitment under Kosovo's football establishment at a higher level.
On behalf of the Kosovo Olympic Committee and the entire Olympic Movement in Kosovo, I express my deepest condolences to his family, friends, the Kosovo Football Federation and all sports lovers, the loss of a large man and a powerful wing of Kosovo sports.
