In this case, Ambassador Gashi conveyed messages to US head of state. Hashim Thaci for counterpart Jose Mario Vaz with the desire to develop co-operation in the field of bilateral and multilateral relations.
Ambassador Gashi was honoured before meeting with President Jose Mario Vaz, with a parade in front of the Guinea Honor Guard and with the honour of being the Kosovo flag set up at the Presidential Palace.
During the letter delivery ceremony, Ambassador Gashi conveyed to President Vaz, the greetings of the president, the government and the people of Kosovo, to His Majesty, government and people of Guinea, the expression of higher considerations for the recognition of the state of Kosovo, as well as the establishment of bilateral diplomatic relations at the ambassador level.
President Vaz thanked Ambassador Gashi and Kosovo state authorities, and pledged deepening relations with states reflecting democracy and peace on the international stage.
