The Kachanic municipality has been the host of the table in terms of presenting the working plan of the MP Women Group, as well as co-operation between MPs and assemblyists.
Representatives of women groups from Ferizaj municipalities, Hani of Elez, Shterpca and Kacanik participated in the table.
According to a statement from the Office for the Relations of the Parliament, Kachanik Chairman Besim Ilazi said it is an honour and a privilege that the Kacanik Community has been chosen as a host of this important meeting, through which the best experiences from both the central and the local level will be exchanged in the field of gender equality.
Meanwhile, the head of the Women's MP group, Medjid Mjaku-Topali, said that even at this meeting the topics will be discussed in common interest, adding that if society invests in achieving gender equality, it benefits the whole society, while wishing that each is given equal opportunities for both genders, because this investment, according to it, positively affects both economic and social and political ones, by exploiting the potential of women and men.

The GGD chairman presented the work plan and joint co-operation in municipalities.
The meeting was welcomed by Parliamentary MP from the Republic of Kosovo and a member of the GGD board, Saranda Bogujevci, Freedom Luta, leader of the Women's Association Group from the Cicanik municipality, Zarife Miftari-Representation of UNFPA, head of the Municipal Assembly in Feriz, Kristina Bytyqi, and Vedat Dema, official for Barazi Gjina.
To achieve, challenges and plans for co-operation and co-ordination of common ideas, groups of women from local levels also discussed.
