The integration process for the Western Balkans does not exceed phases, Eurocommissioner for Enlargement Johannes Hahn has declared.
He has held a lecture in Vienna where he has spoken about the strategy of the Western Balkans, given the fact that Austria takes over the rotating EU presidency in July.
The Western Balkan strategy is seen as an important document to bring back to the agenda European Union enlargement. The Austrian presidency is an important window of possibilities”, Hahn said.
At the end of June, the EU is expected to decide on the opening of negotiations for Albania.
