“Church bells were falling into grief because today something died in Greece”, said local Greek Orthodox priest Irinios Heifredis.
“They take our soul, the name”, the priest added.
According to him, as the AP broadcasts, generations of Greeks, Serbs and Bulgarians fought for a territory that today constitutes Macedonia.
Greece and Macedonia have signed an agreement today on the new name of the former Yugoslav republic that will be Republic of Northern Macedonia.
