It was Defence Minister Panos Kamenos, who is addressing Greek citizens with this articulation, while not mentioning any specific state that will benefit maritime space.
Meanwhile, Greece and Albania are in a process of negotiations to find a solution on the maritime border.
“We are at an important moment in the nation's history, very soon we will expand our territorial water space, recognition of exclusive economic zones, exploitation of underwater wealth, and our country will enter a new era”, Kamenos said.
The issue of the maritime border with Greece has often sparked political debate in our country.
