Study has found a molecule in green tea known as E GCG, it can connect to a protein found on plaques related to coronary artery disease and under certain circumstances, makes it more digestable.
While experts say the latest discovery could open new possibilities for the development of molecules to treat deposits within blood vessels that contribute to coronary artery disease, reports the Guardian”, Periscopi broadcasts.
E GCG has previously shown it affects the structure of proteins that make up plaques related to Alzheimer's disease.
Dr. James Brown, a high legalist in biology and biomedical science at Aston University, was also cautious, stressing that “is not the same as green tea drinking and seeing as having an effect on body”./Periscopi/
