The date of meeting with Mark Zuckerberg has not yet been determined, but the European Parliament president said they are hoping it will happen next week.
Talks will be held on closed doors at the Presidential Conference, attended by leaders of various political groups.
The social network was involved in a scandal that violated the privacy of data of millions of users who were used by the political consultancy company “Cambridge Analytica”, headquartered in London, which after the scandal has announced the closure of business.
On May 23rd, Zuckerberg will be hosted by French President Emmanuel Macro in Paris. Both will hold talks on data and tax privacy.
