Xhafer Osmani, from the village of Pestovo in Vushtrri, late April, was on a trip to Albania. But, six days later (May 5th), Albanian police in Fushje-Kruje had found a burning car inside which was also a lifeless and burned body, allegedly 57-year-old from Vushtrria. He is suspected to have been first tortured or killed and then set on fire with his car.
Media in Albania, where the burned body was found along with Xhafer Osman's car, have announced that crime is thought to be linked to intimate reports between the victim and a female.
A fellow villager of Xhafer said he was not married.
The Express newspaper today has stayed at the Osmani family home from Pestova and Vushtrri, but they have refused to tell for the last moment with him and the reason Xhaferi had taken him to Albania.
Although the body is suspected to be Xhafer Osman's body, the DNA results will be crucial. Waiting for the results is the entire Osman family, they have not yet opened up for Xhaferi.
Death and the mysterious circumstances in which Xhafer Osman found himself continue to be vague even for his family. They do not even know when the morto remains will be returned to carry out the funeral ceremony.
Whatever you know, we don't know anything about the market towards”, said one of Xhaferi's brothers.
“What we're mediaing at, more foreigners are knowing that ours”, added another member of the Osman family.
He said they haven't opened yet to see until they get the DNA score.
And we have no chair to say that we know 100 percent that is Xhaferi”, says his brother refusing to confess more about the case.
However, Xhaferr Osmani has been found burned in a Saturday afternoon car in the village of Derven, Frushe-Cruja, Albania. At the scene, pieces of human bones have been seen burning.
Express has contacted police spokesman for the Mitrovica region, Avni Zahiti. Zahit said on May 4th, family members have reported missing a person who has the same identity as the lifeless body that was found in Fushesh-Cruille.
On May 4th, in the late hours, one of the family reported one person missing from the police and was found on Saturday in Fushe-Cruje, suspected of being the same person”, Zahit told Express.
Xhaferer Osmani had left home on April 29th, and on May 5, he had been found dead.
The expert is expected to confirm whether the victim was killed by weapons or other means before the flame was set on fire.
