Ramush Haradinaj Escort Chief Enters Business

Prime Minister Ramush Haradinaj's escort chief, Arif Ahmetxaj, has entered construction business. He's one of four partners in business “Urban FROUP” The S.P.K., which primary activity has the construction of residential and non-bank facilities. The founding capital of this business is 1.5m euros. This is the amount that shareholders have invested so far in this business. Business headquarters is in Ferizaj.

In the Kosovo Business Record Agency, four owners of the company “Urba- F Group” -- Star Didani, Arif Ahmetxhaqi, Fatos Zariqi and Tom Tobacco.

This company was founded in January 2018.

The same shareholder has opened another business in March, and even the name is almost the same: “Urban FA- Group”. The only difference between business and foundation capital, which in second business is only 1,000 euros.

The newspaper Life in Kosovo has contacted Prime Minister Ramush Haradinaj's chief of escort, Arif Ahmetxaj, who has confirmed that they have launched a new business.

But, he has said that the person authorised by this company is Fatos Zariqi, who, according to Ahmetjekaj, has long been doing construction.

I'm co-owner of this company. We're partners, we're with them in the stream, we're cool, but we're starting to cure”, Ahmetzhekaj told KALLXO.com

Asked where they were supposed to invest, Ahmetxaj says they have a parcel that they have bought for several years at Ferizaj.

He's Ferizaj's friend (Fatos Zariqi), we picked up the plate early, 13-14 years ago. I don't know when we're starting with investments, because Fatos is in the direction he's also investing in Pristina”, Ahmetzhekaj told KALLXO.com.

Fatos Zariqi is the son of former AAK mayor Ferizaj's candidate in the recent local elections, Xhavit Zaric. Xhavit Zariqi of the AAK, who failed to go to the runoff, joined current chairman Agim Aliu in the ruling coalition.

But Fatos Zariqi says he will not use political ties to secure the necessary permits for business development.

“We do not expect nor will it have political or other effects, if we meet the criteria for construction permits we will receive, if we fail to get permission we will close this company”, Zariqi told the JNK Gazette.

He does not expect to be favoured by Ferizaj's government.

Because my father is locked in politics, so far I've had much harder business development, because first of all my father is very principled and, secondly, I've often had obstacles just to the fact that Dad is in politics”, he said.

He has shown that the company is still not functional, but they have a parce in which they aim to make high construction.

We've never had any activities with this company so far. We are waiting to draft the development plan from the Ferizaj municipality, and then apply for the construction permit for a parcel”, Zariqi said.
