The decision, with which the Randa Criminals Court appointed house arrest for former Interior Minister Saimir Tahiri, is a 33-page document.

Report TV has made the file white.

To request Tahiri's arrest, the Albanian Prosecutor has used a large portion of the surveillance conducted by Guardia di Italian Finanza to arrest Moses Habilajn, the minister's cousin and brother of Artan Habilaj, also wanted for drug trafficking. In those wiretaps, Moses Habilaj explained to his accomplices that he had bought two diamond bracelets “for Saimir's wife” and that he had paid a Hugo Boss suit, which the minister of the desert himself chose in a Roman store. A businessman, indeed, has confirmed that Habilaj bought two bracelets (even at a lesser value than the one declared by the boss), but did not know who they were taking. While the clothing dealer, questioned by Guardia di Finanza, has denied ever meeting the minister.

The testimony of Moses Habilaj remains: I've never met my cousin-in-law.

For the first time, statements that Moses Habilla made to Catania's prosecutor reveal that the minister's cousin has admitted his responsibility for drug trafficking, but has ruled out that those gifts or payments he talks about during the wiretapping were made for Saimir Tahir. Moses Habilaj claims the gift he bought was for one of the cannabis suppliers in Albania. Moses Habilaj even claims that he has never met his cousin-in-chief personally.

But the one who knew and met him often with Saimir Tahiri was Artan Habilaj, brother of the trafficker arrested in Italy and whose minister had sold his car “Audi A8”. Contrary to Tahiri's saying that he had never had personal contact with Artan Habilaj, the prosecution has found evidence that both of them may have had contact at least twice in Greece in August 2014, in the coastal town of Lefkada on the island of Corfu, when Tahiri and his wife, parents and a couple of friends have spent two weeks vacationing a two-story rented house.

The owner of the gomone with whom Tahire moves is discovered

Tahiri has gone to Corfu with a 12-foot goon, which turned out to be owned by the plant entrepreneur Orges Liper, who lent it to the minister, while Artan Habilaj drove Tahiri's children with the “Audi A8”. When the gomonia suffered shortcomings, Artan Habilaj returned to Corfu, leaving “Audin” for the minister and dealing with the broken gomone. Tahiri claims he hasn't even met Artan Habilaj.

Artan Habilaj was also taken to send the flawed gomone to Brindisi to repair it, along with a former Delta Force specialist. Ties between Artan Habilaj and Saimir Tahiri were previously known, and, however politically problematic, cannot be thought to constitute even now a temporary test of the former interior minister in illegal Habillas trauma.

Tahiri's warrant also speaks of his travels along with Orest Sot, in whose car Tahiri's two naval licenses were found, and 860 thousand euros in cash: The prosecution insists that the money belonged to the former interior minister.

Under the charges against Tahiri, there is also evidence of co-operation between traffickers and corrupt policemen, some of whom are still at large, and, according to the Prosecutor, these evidence that these policemen acted on Tahiri's orders to favour cannabis trafficking.

The prosecution had sought jail arrest, but the court, which has praised Saimir Tahir's election to resign from the MP's role and thus give up immunity, has decided that it could suffice “house arrest”. Tomorrow, at the first hearing in court, the defence represented by lawyer Max Hadzia will try to show that none of the evidence brought by the prosecution can talk about what, indeed, is a responsibility by former Interior Minister in drug trafficking.
