Minister Gashi urges Italian ambassador support for membership in Interpol, Europol

Interior Ministry Minister Bejtush Gashi hosted Italy's ambassador to Kosovo, Piero Cristoforo Sardi, at the announced meeting.

On this occasion, as reported in the communiqué, Gashi thanked Ambassador Sardi for helping the Republic of Italy with the construction of Kosovo, as well as demanding that this support continue in Kosovo's membership in security organisations, such as: INTERPOL and EUROOPOL.

The “in this meeting was talked about the co-operation of both countries and the overall security situation in Kosovo. Minister Gashi announced the Italian ambassador's priorities as minister and institutions' commitments in combating organised crime, corruption”, said further in the communique.

While the Italian ambassador assured Minister Gashi of Italy's continued support and advancing the two countries' co-operation.
