Lost 11m euros Serbia paid for water pipeline to the north

The EU's office in Kosovo in 2011 had launched a project to expand the water processing plant's capacities in Shipol, Mitrovica, which would also supply water to northern municipalities, but the Serbs in these municipalities had refused to lock up in the south, but had decided to build the regional water supply [...]
The three northern municipalities of Kosovo -- Northern Mitrovica, Zvecani and Leposaviqi -- even after 5 years from the start of the works have not been done with its own water supply.
The two northern municipalities -- North Mitrovica and Zvecani -- are even further supplied with water from the water processing factory in Shipol, Mitrovica, and for the spent water -- do not pay a penny, the newspaper “Zri” writes today.
Even when there is destruction in the south they immediately alert all local and international institutions, even the EU Office in Kosovo, with the demand that water never be stopped. Nearly 13m euros have reached the debts of northern Kosovo Serbs for the spent water.
