Two groups of Kosovo athletes were detained and sent back from Serbian police last night after midnight and earlier this morning to the border checkpoint in Merdare.
But, the Kosovo team has decided to travel back to Serbia to be part of the race, which is held from 10 May to 13 May in the Serbian town.
Kosovo's “Expedita in karate will be headed back to Serbia's Novi Sad. The starting meeting today is held by the Palace of Youth and Sports in Pristina, at 16:30”, the Kosovo Olympic Committee reports.
