Kosovo with 1300 sick from multiple sclerosis

Nexmedin Shala, director of the Neurology Clinic and deputy head of the Kosovo neurologs Association, said that through the marking of this day, they have aimed at senbilising opinion and decision-makers in fighting this disease.
According to him, Kosovo has more than 1,300 persons diagnosed with multiple sclerosis, while currently there are only 100 of them in therapy. He said multiple sclerosis is hit by different age groups, starting at the age of 15.
Shala announced that Neurology Clinic has sufficient professional staff to treat this disease, but greater support is needed in treatment of therapies.
While Labinot Demi from the Association of Patients with Multiple Sclerosis sought greater support for this category of patients and coverage of forms of therapy.
Sclerosis Multiple is a nervous system disease that is presented with various complaints and pain from time to time. The typical incidents of this disease are hand or leg failure, the feeling of being drunk (assarded), trembling, vague articulation, and visual barriers.
