Enver Hoxhaj invents new position for Rexhep Hoti, to be paid as much as a minister

It has not yet been established when the next cabinet meeting will be held, but the agenda points for the next meeting have already been set. There is also “reviewing the proposal for the appointment of the National Coordinator for Culture, Education, Youth and Sports”.

Hoti was appointed the fifth deputy minister at the Ministry of Culture in February of this year. Even because of the large number of deputy ministers, the Ministry of Culture then did not own any offices to arrange the PDK's deputy chairman. He was forced to share the office with one of his colleagues.

The function of the National Coordinator for Culture, Education, Youth and Sports envisions advantages for the head of office; especially if the advantages of a national co-ordinator are compared to those of the deputy minister.

If the government cabinet at the next meeting decides on the appointment of Rexhep Hoti to the top of the role of National Coordinator, then deputy chairman of The PDK will benefit pay raise. He will receive similar salaries with government ministers.

The co-ordinator's “Page will be equivalent to the minister's pay”, said at the 6th point of the proposal.

And in the decision, which is expected to be considered at the next cabinet meeting, at 5th point, notes that the National Coordinator for Culture, Education, Youth and Sports could name as many as three personal advisers.

Also, at another point in the decision (pika 4.) it becomes known that the co-ordinator's mandate will be four years long.

They used to crash, they cooperate today

Just eight months earlier, Rexhep Hoti had pressed remote charges against his deputy chairman and co-party partner at the Democratic Party of Kosovo, Enver Hoxhaj.

In October last year, the media close to PDK deputy leader Rexhep Hotin accused Enver Hoxhaj of staying overnight and usurping the office, where Behgjet Pacolli, Kosovo's first deputy prime minister, should be deployed.

The same portal, in another article against Enver Hoxhaj, published in October of last year, wrote that Hoxhaj had requested two government positions, but the party had used the old <x0-tactic, which has always worked”.

The harsh language of the portal close to Rexhepi Hoti included other charges for his party colleague, Enver Hoxhaj.

“Z. Hoxhaj, what's truth, lies are always tricksy. The huge damage that this personality with great intellectual capacity became an unconditional servant of the PDK's unbodied usurpors” is the other charge to Hoxhaj from the portal close to PDK deputy chairman Rexhep Hotin.

Rexhep Hoti had led Gazeta “during the years 2007-09 Infopres”, which was published in print and served Hashim Thaci. Then it was closed. Portal “Infopress” is officially not managed by Hoti.
