Dardan Sejdiu speaks after GDP agreement with Sorusha Jashar party

The Group of Independent Devils” has reached agreement with the Social Democrat Party, the party which so far has led Zousha Jashar.

The achievement of this agreement has confirmed for Insander, GP chief “Independent Deputies Group”, Dardan Sejdiu.
He has said the new Assembly of this party will be held on 9 May, by and where the new chairman and new party members will be elected.

We have reached agreement with the Social Democrat party. Under the 9 May agreement, the Assembly will be held, where members and party chairman will be elected. Under that agreement there will be a candidate. Who that candidate will be will be seen on May 9th.

Sejdiu did not want to speak about the name of who might be the party's chief, but has said that at the May 9th Parliament, only one candidate will be proposed, and that the next few days will be decided what he will be.

He has acknowledged that Shpend Ahmeti has helped draft the principle declaration.

“Yes, Shpend Ahmeti has been a current aider in party formation. We have been working together on establishing a declaration of principles”, Sejdiu said.
The 12 deputies of the Parliament, who have already resigned from the Vetevendosje Movement, will be part of this party, as will Pristina chairman Shpend Ahmeti, who took over the capital's leadership, precisely as Vetevendosje Movement candidate.
