Kosovo's Board of Directors of Telecom through an announcement suggests that they are currently holding a meeting at the Telekom facility, but that such a decision to cut salaries has not been taken.
Kosovo Telekom Directors' “Bord reports all employees of Kosovo Telecom that news broadcast on certain media is not true. Kosovo's Board of Directors of Telecom dismissed this disinformation for reporting that the Kosovo Government has made a decision to reduce wages of 40 per cent of Kosovo Telecom employees. Kosovo's Board of Directors of Telecom is unaware of such a decision. The board of Kosovo Telecom Directors is today holding a common meeting in the Kosovo Telecom facility and following the publication of this news, reports all Kosovo Telekom employees that this news given in some media is not true”, the report said.
They explain that they are aware of the difficult operational and financial situation in which the company is at home, but, in spite of that, they say no collection has been set for a reduction in wages.

On the other hand, media report that the decision to cut salaries has been taken after victory in Arbitrazy against the Aexos Company.
The Akos company had indicted Kosovo for canceling the privatisation of 75 per cent of PTK shares.
The process of privatising Kosovo's Post and Telecom was launched in 2010.
Three years later, in April 2013, Axos had been declared the winner after offering 277m euros for the purchase of a 75% stake in Vala and Telekom.
But the Kosovo Assembly did not give the green light to the government's report on the sale of PTK, as it was the opposition who strongly opposed this process by boycotting several times even the sessions.
ACP Axos Capital GmbH filed suit on June 4th 2015 at the International Court for Settlement of Investment Disputes (ICSID). /Periscopi
