According to the Serbian newspaper “Kurir” Albanians are pressing during mass housing and land purchase, or even kidnapping, for which actions this newspaper writes are the most lethal weapon used by Kosovo Albanians for 20 years now, says Professor Dusko from Mitrovica.
According to him, Kosovo Albanians have a plan to expel the majority of Serbs left in this part from Kosovo. “They have begun the massive acquisition of Serbian property, and anyone who disagrees to sell it is forced by threats and intimidation”, the Serbian professor says.
Dusko says Albanians aim to completely change the ethnic composition of northern Kosovo and turn it into a territory with the majority Albanian population.
These statements have come from Professor of the Jurydic Faculty in northern Mitrovica Dusko Celic, who, for Kurir, says that mass purchase of homes and land, as well as confiscating Serb-owned property, are the most lethal weapon that Kosovo Albanians have been using on this mission for years, broadcastsabres.info.
It claims that more than a million cadastral plots have been seized, which is about 40 per cent of all cadastral parcels.
“In 99 per cent of Serbia's property cases has been usurped, which recognises both the owner and the usurper. The mechanisms founded by UNMIK were not successful, because only six percent of the property returned. And often it's a case of re-securitys, and most of it again is illegally usurped. Another surprising fact that no prison sentence was pronounced on the basis of criminal charges for abuse, and more serious was a fine of 200 euros, Celic says, and warns there is a massive construction of houses for Albanians on Serbian soil, which is a classic example of planning to change ethnic population composition.
Parliamentary Commission for Kosovo Chairman Milovan Drescu says threats and pressures for Serbs to sell their property and leave Kosovo are daily.
Serbia's “The Serbs' leadership is plunder, burn and murder. Police do not protect Serbs or their property, and courts treat them as second-class citizens. There are even criminal groups that fear and promote incidents, which are intended for Serbs to leave Kosovo to complete ethnic cleansing”, Drescu says.
