According to the United Nations organization, it is estimated that 1. 3 million people in Cassai have been forced to abandon their homes as a result of the wars involving territory since August 2016.
U n NICEF estimates that as a result of the shift, in which thousands of families are said to have settled in other territories where they have no food and water supplies, while currently hundreds of thousands are facing severe acute malnutrition.
