Turkish police have conducted operations in 34 provinces across the country, Turkish daily Milliyet has reported, reported Reuters.
The suspects are said to have been targeted after statements by soldiers who were arrested earlier. Military officials arrested in recent operations reportedly are part of Gulen's Hizmet (Help) movement.
The UN Human Rights Office has said Turkish authorities have arrested 160 thousand people and have fired almost the same number of civil servants after the failed stamp of July 2016. /rel
